Artsakh leader visited Armenian Cathedral in Buenos Aired

On 29 November President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Buenos Aires, central information department of the office of Arstakh Republic President informs. In the yard of the cathedral the President laid wreaths to the memorials of the 1915 Genocide and the Artsakh liberation war martyrs, following which he held a meeting with Primate of the Argentinean Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Gisak Mouradyan and members of the diocesan council. Issues related to the Artsakh-Diaspora cooperation were touched upon during the meeting. The President called the Armenian Apostolic Church one of the most important pillars of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity, which greatly contributes to cementing the inter-Armenian ties. Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in Argentine, Uruguay and Chile Vladimir Karmirshal—Éan, head of the central information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President David Babayan partook at the events.
